The boldly styled new 2007 GMC Sierra Crew Cab can benefit from secure cargo storage and improved fuel economy with the addition of a SnugLid “SL” fiberglass tonneau cover —now available for 1500 series Sierras equipped with the short (69.2”) bed. In addition to enhancing the looks of the Sierra, published tests have shown significant gas mileage gains for SnugLid-equipped vehicles compared to open-bed pickups.

SNUGTOP’s patented SnugGrip mounting system, which eliminates the need to drill holes in the bed, is used to attach the lid...and facilitates easy installation/removal. A rotary “Slam” latch is standard, with an optional keyless remote that “pops” the tonneau open at the push of a button.

Structural features include a 1-inch thick honeycomb construction with a smooth, flat “First Class” finish and stainless steel hardware. The lid’s construction quality is underscored with a Lifetime Structural Warranty.

The SnugLid has a finished edge, and is painted to match GMC factory colors using DuPont’s ChromaPremier basecoat/clearcoat process. It’s covered by a Lifetime Paint Warranty. Available options include a SnugRug headliner and Bedrug heavy-duty carpeting for the bed.
